Overview

Designed by National Artist for Architecture Leandro V. Locsin, the PICC is renowned for its architectural grandeur, blending contemporary design with traditional Filipino elements. Its distinctive curved forms and use of natural materials reflect Locsin’s signature “tropical modernism” style. Originally built to host the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank in 1976, the center has since become a symbol of Philippine progress and diplomacy.

Situated along the scenic Manila Bay coastline at Vicente Sotto Street, the PICC enjoys a prime location near key government offices, cultural landmarks, shopping districts, and luxury hotels. Its proximity to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and the Mall of Asia complex makes it highly accessible for both domestic and international delegates.
