Central role

The Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center will be developed into the largest comprehensive convention center in Guangdong Province, enabling the province and the city to host large-scale international and domestic conferences.

The conference center features over 170,000 square meters of meeting space, including 30,000 square meters of exhibition space and a total of 66 meeting halls. These include the 2,500-seat Century Grand Hall, a 250-seat presidium meeting hall, and medium-sized meeting halls; a 1,200-seat Lingnan Conference Hall; two 500-seat international conference halls; 21 medium-sized meeting halls named after prefecture-level cities; and other small and medium-sized meeting rooms, as well as the Oriental Banquet Hall.

The venues are equipped with state-of-the-art international facilities and equipment, including simultaneous interpretation systems, electronic voting systems, central control systems, conference speaking systems, sound control systems, and conference audio-visual recording systems, capable of meeting the needs of conferences of various scales and types.

The Lingnan Oriental Hotel consists of the South Wing (Building A) and the North Wing. The two wings cover an area of 140,000 square meters, offer 1,122 guest rooms, and feature comprehensive supporting facilities and a full range of services.
