Completed in 2012 and located at 26 Yingbin Road in Karamay City, the Karamay Convention and Exhibition Center was designed by the U.S.-based firm NBBJ and China Architecture Design & Research Group (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. It is a landmark modern building featuring the distinctive characteristics of wind-blown yellow sand and desert dunes.
The building stands 23 meters tall, with the ground floor serving as the main exhibition area and the second floor housing conference rooms. It covers a total floor area of 30,246 square meters, features a 30% green space ratio, and provides nearly 1,000 parking spaces. Equipped with advanced security surveillance systems, automatic fire alarm systems, and sprinkler systems, it is one of the most advanced exhibition venues in Northern Xinjiang. It is a member of the China Exhibition Center Association and a council member of the China-Foreign Exhibition & Convention magazine.
The Convention and Exhibition Center comprises indoor exhibition halls and outdoor exhibition grounds. The indoor exhibition area spans approximately 17,000 square meters and can accommodate 500 standard booths, while the outdoor exhibition area covers approximately 13,000 square meters.
The indoor facility spans three floors and serves as a comprehensive venue for conferences, exhibitions, and large-scale celebratory events. It features seven meeting rooms, one 300-seat auditorium equipped with five-channel simultaneous interpretation systems, one 120-seat conference room, as well as small meeting rooms, VIP reception rooms, VIP meeting rooms, and business negotiation rooms.

The indoor exhibition hall covers approximately 17,000 square meters and can accommodate 500 standard booths, while the outdoor exhibition area spans approximately 13,000 square meters.
Meeting Rooms
The convention center features a total of 7 meeting rooms, including 1 lecture hall with 300 seats and a 5-channel simultaneous interpretation system, 1 conference room with a capacity of 120 seats, as well as small meeting rooms, VIP reception rooms, VIP meeting rooms, and business negotiation rooms. These facilities are equipped with advanced broadband internet, projection equipment, public address systems, and protocol services.
